With COVID-19 restrictions loosening as of the 18th of May, we will be running small trial events to see how we can best get the venue organised to accommodate safe distancing and play. The admin teams for Tasmania have talked about a layered approach as a return to events.
Please read the attached announcement, we will have more details but the safety of others is paramount. As stated these events will help us determine, layout, times of the events, and more to best help those interested in playing.
It will be a multi layered approach to returning but for now the biggest key is focusing on keeping to the COVID-19 government restrictions. At any point that they change we will be putting the changes in to effect. It’s also paramount that players and interested parties practice just being overall safe in the matter.
If you are sick or believe yourself to be in contact with someone who is, please don’t attend events, we will also be using this time, as stated above, to re-evaluate the layout of the scene so we can put in the correct safety measures. Before the shutdown we were able to put in place safe 1.5m distances between players but we want to make sure we can do that more effectively moving forward.
We will update the scene as more news comes out but for now we are eager to take advantage of the relaxed rules to best help the scenes mental state.
